According to a new survey presented at the annual meeting of the American Urological Society, men who are considered addicted to pornography are unlikely to have sexual relations with consenting adults. They are more likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction.

Researchers surveyed 312 men aged between 20 and 40 at a urology clinic in San Diego and found that 3.4% of men preferred masturbation to pornography. Dr Matthew Christman, chief researcher and urologist at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, reported that his team found a real statistical relationship between pornography addiction and sexual problems. Why is this important? A study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine in 2013 surveyed 439 men with erectile dysfunction and determined that a quarter of them were actually under 40. Moreover, half of young people suffer from severe ed.

& Cristeman points out that the incidence of organic causes of erectile dysfunction in this age group (20 to 40 years old) is very low, so the increase in erectile dysfunction that we have observed for a long time needs to be explained. Although doctors and his team believe that the use of pornography may be part of the mystery, they say their data do not show that addiction to pornography is the only reason for the increase.

Drugs and alcohol, smoking, obesity, diabetes and heart disease may lead to ED. Stress and anxiety may also be an integral part of ED; recent research supports the theory that young people are more stressed and anxious than ever before. What does

mean for women, except that ED affects two related people? Obviously, the influence of pornography on women is different from that of men. Researchers surveyed a group of women of the same age and found no correlation between the use of pornography and female sexual dysfunction.

But it is worth noting that this study does not claim that watching pornography has a negative impact on sexual behavior. In fact, if used properly, it will have a positive impact on your sexual life.

Dr. Joseph Arukar, Director of Reproductive Health at New York University, claims that visual stimuli usually increase arousal in men and women. But he warns that when they spend most of their time watching and masturbating pornography, they are likely to lose interest in real-world sexual contact.

So, if you have a performance problem, know that the problem may be psychological. & Sex is half in your body and half in your mind. It may not be a physiological factor driving behavior, but a psychological factor. & For this reason, doctors must understand the potential problems that lead to sexual dysfunction before recommending treatment options. & quot;

He also pointed out that pornography may lead to impotence in young, inexperienced men because it can set the tone for unrealistic expectations. Let's face it: Most of us don't look and act like porn stars. Read more

& "They believe they should be able to do what happens in these movies, and when they can do it, it will cause a lot of anxiety," Arukar told the Chicago Tribune. Both Kristman and Arukar urged men who feared that their pornographic habits would disappoint their partners to seek help.

What do you think? Do you think pornography has a negative impact on sexual behavior? Can pornography be moderate? Are you surprised that researchers have found no link between pornography and female dysfunction?
